Why It Matters
Five Ways an API Connection Pays Off Fast
Manual data transfer creates errors, delays, and frustration. An API connection eliminates the gap between what NACM holds and what your team needs — in every system, every time.
Save time — reduce repetitive manual entry across your team
Improve accuracy — eliminate copy-paste errors at the source
Connect existing software — link tools your team already uses
Automate routine workflows — support updates, reports, and status checks hands-free
Support vendor-managed processes — approved vendors can help maintain the connection
How the Integration Process Works
Six guided steps from first conversation to live connection.
Security & Onboarding
Built on a Foundation of Controlled Access.
Live access is never granted until setup and testing are fully complete. Every integration is approved, scoped, and verified before it touches production data.
Permission-based access
Access is controlled and approved based on role and use case.
Testing before production
Live access is not provided until setup and testing are fully complete.
Guided support
We coordinate setup, testing, launch, and follow-up support with you every step of the way.
Common Questions
What Members Ask Most
Straightforward answers to help you decide if an API integration is right for your team.
An API connection lets your software communicate directly with NACM systems. Instead of logging in, downloading a report, and entering data somewhere else, the information moves automatically between platforms. If your team manages credit information, runs reports regularly, or works across multiple tools, an API saves meaningful time and reduces errors.
Approved members can access account information, credit data, monitoring data, NTCRs, and other reports. The specific data available to your integration is determined during the scope review and is based on your membership, role, and approved use case.
Either works. Many members use their internal IT teams, while others work with an approved vendor to manage the connection. Both paths are supported through the same onboarding process. You will be asked during the discovery conversation whether the builder will be an internal team or an outside vendor.
Timeline depends on the complexity of your systems and the scope of data involved. During the initial review, you will be asked to share your target timeline so the team can plan accordingly. The six-step process is designed to be efficient while making sure the connection is tested and secure before going live
Yes. Access is role-based and requires approval before any connection is established. Live production access is not enabled until the connection has been fully tested and validated. Our team supports the process from setup through launch and provides ongoing assistance if issues arise
To kick off an integration review, you will need to share: your system name, your business goal, the data you want to send or receive, whether the builder is an internal team or a vendor, a technical contact, and your target timeline. From there, our team will guide the rest of the process.
